Marilyn Mae Williamson, age 75, of Garretson, passed away peacefully in her home on October 8, 2026. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Monday, October 12, 2026, at Zion Lutheran Church, Garretson. Visitation will be from 4-6:00 PM Sunday, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson.

Marilyn was born on April 23, 1951, to Klaas and Leona (Huisman) Reiter and was raised on a farm outside Adrian, MN, alongside her five siblings. Marilyn graduated from Adrian High School in 1969.

She married Doug Gulseth, and together they welcomed their son, Broc. On September 18, 1988, she married the love of her life, Doug Williamson, and joyfully gained two bonus children, Todd and Leah. Marilyn worked at Sioux Valley Hospital for 41 years as a scheduling coordinator, and cherished her work family until her retirement.

Marilyn was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed golfing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and attending their many activities. The grandkids looked forward to sleepovers at her house. Marilyn treasured every adventure shared with her sisters and dear friends. She loved impromptu evenings spent on the deck with her friends and family.

Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Broc (Trecia) Gulseth, and stepson, Todd Williamson, both of Brandon; stepdaughter, Leah (Chad) Jones of Garretson; grandchildren, Torre, Tripp, and Boone Gulseth; Halle and Kenley Williamson; and Anna and Jake Jones. She is also survived by her sisters: Carol (Kenny) Groenewold of Worthington, MN; Sandra (Vern) Suedkamp of Adrian, MN; twin sister Mary (Marlyn) Debuhr of Ellsworth, MN; and Deanna (Dennis) Pick of Kenneth, MN; sisters‑in‑law Linda Devitt of Lakeville, MN, and Helen Williamson of Garretson; along with many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug; her brother, Kevin “Gumby” Reiter of Adrian, MN; brother‑in‑law, Dean Williamson of Garretson; and her parents.
