On Monday, April 12th, 2021, Larry Allen Sagness, loving brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls. Larry was 70 years old. Born in Flandreau on July 25th, 1950, to Roy and Ruby (Oien) Sagness, Larry graduated from Washington High School in 1969. Larry served in the U.S. Navy off the coast of Vietnam, stationed on the USS Wabash out of Long Beach, CA from 1971 to 1973. He then served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, from 1973 to 1976. Following his years of service, Larry worked at several places in Sioux Falls, including Lewis Drug, Soo Import, Carquest, and NAPA Auto. Whether it be at work or through showing his beloved ‘61 Impala or ’55 Chevy Handyman Wagon, Larry’s life revolved around cars.
