Kristi Lynn Friman

Kristi Lynn Friman, age 63, of Sioux Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Good Samaritan Luther Manor in Sioux Falls, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Sioux Falls Humane Society.

Kristi was born on December 22, 1960, in Sioux Falls, to Ivan “Woody” and Darlene (Jensen) Waagmeester. She grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1979. On July 15, 1983, she married Craig Allan Friman. Kristi worked at Sencore, the jewelry department at the east side K-Mart, and Mini-Critters until MS forced her retirement. She loved her dogs and horses and would take her dogs to dog shows. She also enjoyed playing bingo and listening to Garth Brooks.

Kristi is survived by her husband, Craig; and siblings, Kathi (Jim) Gaspar, Bob (Susan) Waagmeester, and Bill (Danielle) Waagmeester. She was preceded in death by her parents, and in-laws, Duane and Anne Friman.
