Kenneth Scott Rogers

Kenneth Scott Rogers of Sioux Falls, SD, was called home on July 10th, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 15th, 1970, in Dell Rapids, SD.

Kenny liked to go camping, play horseshoes, darts, and pool. He was learning how to do tattoos in his spare time, besides remodeling houses. Kenny loved animals, especially dogs. He worked odd jobs here and there until he started flipping houses. He took pride in his work. He was called Papa Duck by his extended family, Emily, Joe, Ayce, River, Tiana, and Amari. He will be forever missed.

Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Diane (Gednalske) Rogers and his brother, Otey (Butch) Rogers III. He is survived by his life partner, Chloye Smedsrud-Stelzer; sisters: Tammy (Steve) Wendell of Trent, SD, Lisa (Jeff) Nielsen of Trent, SD, and Merry Rogers (Chuck Christopherson) of Sioux Falls, SD; nieces and nephews: Jerica Merkwan, Jace Blair, Jasmine Cochran, and Jordan Rogers; and special friends, Roger, Kerry, and Marv.
