Kendra Brouwer, 38, of Sioux Falls, SD passed away at home in the presence of her family on October 22, 2022, ending a 3-year journey with metastatic breast cancer.

She was born January 5, 1984, in Cheyenne, WY to Dennis and Terri Brown.  She graduated from Cheyenne Central High School 2002, South Dakota State University 2008 with a degree in Organizational Business, and Globe University Massage Therapy School 2012.  Kendra's entrepreneurial passions led her to pursue being a massage therapist at numerous chiropractic offices and independently, as well.  Additionally, she owned Kosha Yoga Studio and School, training numerous future yogis as a registered 200 E-RYT.  A long list of other studios employed her yoga teaching excellence, too.  She became an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International in 2014 and Area Manager in 2020, allowing her to encourage health, nutrition, beauty, and wellness to clients all over the country.  These deep passions, as well as fierce athletic competitiveness and gentle presence, made her a well-known resident of Sioux Falls, and Cheyenne, WY, and other local communities. The Brouwer and Brown families are extremely thankful for your generous support, prayers, and gifts during this journey. Finally, she was on the rosters for many wellness and running events and fundraisers, and a friend and running partner to many in Sioux Falls Women Run.

Kendra is survived by her husband Graeme, children Morgan and Burke, parents Dennis and Terri Brown, Grandpa Wayne Brown, brother Cameron (wife Megan, nephews Calvin and Nolan, niece Emma) and brother Clay, Graeme's parents Dean and Carol Brouwer, sister-in-law Julie (and niece Presslie), aunt Cheryl, first cousins Amanda, Kiah, and Nicole, and numerous other cousins around the country.

She proudly showed her faith in Christ and our hearts are filled with the treasures and memories of knowing she resides in the Heavenly arms of Jesus with those who preceded her in death-a very special sister Katie Brown, Grandma Jean Brown, Grandparents Don and Phyllis Kenyan, and uncle Gregg Brown.

Kendra's beloved church family will host her Celebration of Life Service at First Evangelical Free Church of Sioux Falls, 2601 W. 69th St., on November 12, 2022, at 1 P.M.CST, with a reception to follow.  The service will be livestreamed at the church website: knowinggodsf.org (link to their YouTube Channel).  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for Morgan and Burke's future education.
