Karen Jean Bronson

Karen Jean Bronson, age 72, of Dell Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in Dell Rapids.

Karen was born to Donald and Iva (Paulsen) Lyons on March 30, 1954. Karen grew up in many places across the country, graduating from Dell Rapids High School in 1973. Throughout her career, she worked in retail in various gas stations and truck stops. In 2000, Karen met Martin Blath while working in Nebraska. They moved to Dell Rapids in 2004. Karen enjoyed going to rummage sales and thrift stores. She was determined and had a heart of gold. 

Karen is survived by her partner, Martin Blath of Dell Rapids; siblings: Gary (Gloria) Lyons of Sioux Falls, Wayne Lyons of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lynn Repko of Pasco, Washington; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, John Repko.
