Cooper Patrick Christensen, age three months, called home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from SIDS at his home in Colton, SD.

A Celebration of Life for Cooper will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids, SD.

A come and go visitation will be from 10:00 AM to the time of service at 12:00 PM at the Chapel in Dells.

Burial will follow at the Berg Cemetery rural Renner, SD.

Cooper was born a month early at Avera Hospital on January 25th, 2026, to parents Daisja and Jordan Christensen, joining brother Corbin. Despite the small time with Cooper, he loved to smile, kick, tell stories, and had the best singing voice. He was loved so dearly with the little time God blessed us with him.

Cooper will always be remembered and loved by his parents, Daisja and Jordan; brother, Corbin; 1 Great-Great Grandparent; his 5 Great Grandparents; 5 Grandparents; 4 Aunts; 5 Uncles; and 6 Cousins.

On April 29th, 2026, sweet baby Cooper gained his wings and flew to heaven, where we imagine him still smiling, kicking, and singing—just as he did here with us. He will forever be held in the hearts of those who love him.
