Donald "Pat" Kock

Donald “Pat” Kock, 78, of Colton Died Friday, November 07, 2008 at Avera McKennan Hospital.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the United Methodist Church, Colton. Burial will be in the Colton Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7:00 PM Monday at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Colton.

Donald “Pat” Kock was born July 24, 1930 at Canistota, South Dakota to parents Henry and Minnie (Johnke) Kock. As a small child he moved with his family to the Colton area where he attended Country School. Pat started working at the Eggen & Valland John Deere Implement Company in Colton. In the early 1970’s he started Pat’s Repair that he operated until 2006.

Pat was a member of the United Methodist Church in Colton.

Survivors include his sister, Clara Austin, Colton; two brothers, Lloyd Kock, and Vernon (Doloris) Kock, of Sioux Falls and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Melvin, Walter, and Loren; two sisters, Viola, and Delores.
