Dani Jo Johnson, 37, of Sioux Falls, formerly from Redfield & Webster, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Avera Prince of Peace.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Redfield Wesleyan Church, Redfield, SD. Visitation will be from 2– 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Baltic. Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic and Thelen-Hyke Funeral Home are assisting the family.

Dani Jo Johnson was born on February 8, 1980 to parents Kenneth and Lanette (Bloom) Johnson at Webster, SD. She lived in Redfield until the age of 16 when she moved to Webster. She graduated from Webster High School in 1998. While living in Webster, she worked at the Bethesda Home & Pizza Hut. Dani Jo moved to Sioux Falls in 2006 to begin attending school at National American University in the Paralegal program. While in Sioux Falls, she also worked at Old Chicago. She was doing both of these until the time of her accident. She has been a resident of Avera Prince of Peace, Sioux Falls, since the time of her tragic accident in 2007.

Grateful for having shared her life are her boys, Tristan of Webster & Aidyn of Hot Springs, her father Kenneth (Linda) Johnson of Baltic, her mother Lanette Bloom, SD, her brothers, Brock Johnson of Sioux Falls, Chad (Ronda) Muilenburg of Ethan, Carl (Colette) Johnson of Ashton, her sister Kendra Johnson of Mitchell, her grandparents Wilbur & Lois Hargreaves of Stickney, her nieces Olivia & Skyler, her nephew Hunter, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and 2 special friends Josh Anderson & Jeff Janis.

She was preceded in death by her sister Ashley, her grandparents Carl & Myrtle Johnson, and Donald & Marge Bloom, and uncles, aunts, & cousins.
