Amy Lyn Hilt, 42 of rural Hartford died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Sanford USD Medical Center.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, Crooks. Burial will be in the West Nidaros Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday at the church.

Amy Lyn was born April 28, 1972 in Sioux Falls to parents Robert and Diane (Stokes) Neeley. She grew up near Colton and graduated from Tri Valley High School. She then attended the Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown.

Amy married Matthew Hilt September 6, 1997 in Colton. They lived in Sioux Falls before moving to Crooks in 1998. In 2010 they moved to an acreage near Lyons.

Amy worked as an Administrative Assistant for Missouri River Energy Service and also as a Shelter Assistant at the Children’s Inn.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Matt, Hartford, two sons, Bryce and Caleb, at home; her mother, Dianne Stokes, Sioux Falls; father, Robert (Donna) Neeley, Brandon; sister, Jodi Heitkamp, Baltic; brother, Tom (Jackie) Neeley, Crooks; four nephews, Ethan, Aidan, Owen and Blake, father and mother in law, Raymond and Greta Hilt, Canton; brother in law, Allen (Kris) Hilt and their sons, Evan and Ross, Canton; sister in law, Debbie (Warren) Johnson and their sons, Kyle, Nathan, Grant and Mitch, Alcester and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, uncle, Chuck and aunt and uncle, Ron and Linda.
