Maxine Amundson

Maxine Ann Killeaney Amundson was born April 17, 1933, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Dewey and Edna (Carson) Killeaney.

Survivors include her children: David and wife Jill of Marshall, Marin and husband Dana Graham of Northfield, Daniel and wife Michelle of Dover; 8 grandchildren: Alexa and Aliya Amundson, Scott, Luke and Collin Graham, Carson, Wyatt and Elliott Amundson; other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her husband Rev. Earl Amundson and her parents.

Maxine passed away with her family by her side on Sunday morning, April 20, 2014, at the Care Center of the Northfield Retirement Community, at the age of 81.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday, April 25, 2014, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield with Rev. Tim McDermott officiating. Music will be provided by Rhonda Reece. Interment will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Colton, South Dakota. Visitation will be 4-7PM Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Bethel Lutheran Church. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church or the Maxine Killeaney Amundson Endowed Scholarship at Augustana College.
