Julius "Pete" Peterson

Julius “Pete” Peterson, 86, of Baltic died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Southridge Healthcare Center. Pete has donated his body to the USD School of Medicine. There will be no services.
Julius Paul “Pete” Peterson was born October 24, 1927 at Jasper, Minnesota to parents Leonard and Ella (Benson) Peterson. He grew up and attended grade school at Jasper. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was discharged in May of 1947.
Pete was employed at Rich Brothers of Sioux Falls for many years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche, Baltic; a daughter Deborah Madison, St. Paul, MN; a son Paul, Sioux Falls; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis, Sioux Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Bryan, two brothers and a sister.
